We were called out to diagnose a problem with a commercial water heater, and as it turns out there was a problem with their roof mounted HVAC unit. After some testing, two of our Columbus plumbers figured out that the HVAC unit was sending large blasts of air that kept blowing out the gas flame. The pilot light just would not stay lit. Another mystery solved by your number one Columbus plumber. Stranger things have happened.
There are lots of Columbus plumbing companies but nobody is better than Roto-Rooter when it comes to solving mysterious plumbing problems. We handle thousands of local plumbing jobs each year, in addition to taking care of clogged drains and sewer repair work. Call us if you need us at 614-351-0455.

Camera inspection is essentially the only method to determine if tree roots have reached the pipe lines of a home. This is becoming a prerequisite of buying an older home and is definitely recommended by many Columbus plumbers, especially when large trees are involved.
If the house you are planning to purchase is less then 30 years old, you most likely have a plastic sewer. But, this is not guaranteed and a major reason for camera inspection. The inspection only takes about a half hour and the sewer cleaning usually takes place in the basement.
If a camera inspection is not an option before purchase, ask for an escrow of the amount to reline or replace the sewer to be put into the contract. Most definitely do the inspection after your home purchase if you were unable to do one prior. If the sewer line is good then they will get their money back. If the sewer line is bad and the sellers know it is then they probably won't agree to an escrow. In most contracts they can't knowingly deceive you.
